Liked: It was very nicely furnished and clean. Loved watching the peacocks around the property.
Disliked: The bathroom in our room. It was nicely done but the floor of the shower was slippery and the towels were like cardboard.

Stressful rather than relaxing! Never...
Liked: The room was lovely. Mum and I had a double bed each and it was very comfy.
Disliked: The staff were generally lovely and doing their best. However, the bar staff (2 young lads) ignored us at the bar, letting us stand there until I said something to a Manager. Terrible service. We were also told how busy they were by one young lad who gave no eye contact. Not the expectation for the price we paid. The menu was awful. Very odd for an establishment like this. Brakes food, defrosted. My Mum's Mediterranean platter was spicy falafels and houmous, with giant slices of carrot stuck in it, and rock hard greasy pitta! The peacocks try to steal your food when in the garden. There are too many. We counted 28! I won't mention the 470 people having a work do, which meant the hotel guests were impacted by bar staff not able to cope. Also, the older woman on reception raised her eyebrows when I asked a question, as she was busy. A better thing to do is say I'm so sorry, can I come back to you. Not good enough.
