Liked: Great selection of well cooked breakfast options and the fresh fruit salad was yummy. Location of Guest House was very central, making visits to places of interest very easy. Hosts were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: Our double bed was smaller than the one we are used to, so it took a night or so to get a full nights sleep. Not a criticism of the Guest House, but might be relevant for tall people.

A weekend in Par

Liked: Penarth House is a petite guest house, ideally located in Par in walking distance of shops and the local chippy. The hosts are friendly and helpful ( engaging in a bit of banter, when on arrival I ask the host to please change his shirt as it was one of my American Footballs archenemies ). The whole place was very clean and well kept, breakfast is cooked to order. The guest house is also a fantastic starting point for a walk to the Eden Project. Two busses go past or nearby, thus Penarth House easily reachable from the station, when not travelling there in a car.
Disliked: (weather - unfortunately when I was there it was stormy and raining)
