Peartree Lodge Waterside

Easy to check in; friendly staff; just a shame I was woken up very early by noisy staff outside my room the morning after my stay. Overall good hotel and good setting next to the canal.

Disliked: Being woken up early the following morning by noisy staff outside my room. This was around 7am and continued for hours until I complained from my room's window.

Comfortable stay

Liked: The bed is extremely comfortable.It's very quiet and barely any noises. The bedroom carpet seems to be new which was nice to see. It's a clean hotel, clean bathroom and bedroom. Staff are very welcoming.
Disliked: The furniture is very old and outdated.The bathroom decoration seems to be old too.

Liked: The staff were great. Helpful and polite. The room was clean and tidy and despite us only staying 2 nights they did come in during the day and make the beds and change the towels.The location was good and having the pub next door was a real bonus for grabbing food and a relaxing drink on our return.
Disliked: The rooms are dated and a bit tired.
