Easy to check in; friendly staff; just a shame I was woken up very early by noisy staff outside my room the morning after my stay. Overall good hotel and good setting next to the canal.

Disliked: Being woken up early the following morning by noisy staff outside my room. This was around 7am and continued for hours until I complained from my room's window.

Liked: Huge bed with large room . Lovely staff . Very clean .
Disliked: The bath needs replaced . It was badly scratched and looked “ dirty” but this was due to the scratches .

Disliked: All the staff were very nice all apart from the women on reception who was quite rude when we turned up before 3 o’clock and asked if we could get in to our room a little earlier she said we would have to pay 10 pounds extra in a don’t care if you do or don’t manor we decided to have a drink instead

Liked: Comfortable and clean room with all the basics. The pub next door served excellent value for money meals. The hotel is also next to a canal with lovely walks along it.
