Pear Tree House B&B, Pickering

A wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Liked: This b&b was outstanding. It was spotless, cosy and the breakfast was amazing. The nicest porridge I’ve ever had and my husband said the cooked breakfast was simply delicious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I 100% recommend Pear Tree House.
Disliked: Absolutely no complaints.

It was great

Liked: My room was a good size and very comfortable with a settee and dressing table. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices, good quality food and nicely cooked. The owners are lovely people, very helpful and friendly. Location was good, 15 mins walk to the town.
Disliked: The only downside to my stay was that someone, probably another guest, tried to get in my room at 3am the first morning but that could hardly be blamed on the owners.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything. Excellent service and will definitely stay again. Food wonderful 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were made to feel...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, hot and very tasty delivered on time with a friendly smile. Our room was warm clean and comfortable. The bathroom was exceptional lovely rolltop bath plenty of hot water.
Disliked: there was nothing we didn't like about this B&B the welcome was warm and friendly with a lovely smile the property exceeded our expectations the owners gave lots of local helpful information about the area and surrounding areas.

Very enjoyable all round.

Liked: Breakfast was filling with plenty of choice, location is only a few minutes walk to the town centre, plenty of pubs and takeways to choose from.
Disliked: There is nothing we didn't like apart from we couldn't stay longer but we all have to work.

Excellent place to stay for...

Liked: tea, coffee-making facility, tv, and the bathrobe for trip to bathroom was a nice touch. Breakfast was great. Free parking on site.
Disliked: Can't fault it.

Great location and breakfast

Liked: Great location to explore the area including Dalby Forest. Breakfast was great - varied and delicious. Having use of the living room was also nice. Off street parking was also handy.
Disliked: On a slightly busy main road but not too noisy. Beware Mondays can be quiet in Pickering and not many food options!
