Perfect stop off for Alton...

Liked: Margaret and her team were fantastic. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. 10mins down road from Alton towers. We will definitely stay here again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Location was great as we booked to go to Alton Towers. Meals in pub all homemade was delicious

One night hotel stay.

Liked: Clean room and bedding. An old house with an atmospheric restaurant. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Very friendly staff. Free parking for your car.
Disliked: The road is right outside the window, and there is a lot of noise from cars at night and early in the morning. The walls are thin, and you can hear everything that is said in the neighboring rooms and downstairs in the bar. At night, it is impossible to flush the toilet because of the noise of water rushing through the pipes. There is no decent coffee at breakfast, only instant coffee.

Liked: We had 2 evening meals and breakfasts and they were delicious and very reasonably priced. The room was comfortable and very clean, with plenty of room for me and my 3 boys.
Disliked: Nothing. It was all great. I couldn't have asked for more.

Liked: Room had everything we needed, bed was comfy, staff polite and food great
Disliked: Rooms were a little basic for the price but think it’s because of the location. Signal almost non existent for wifi

Liked: Great little room, welcoming staff did everything to make us feel comfortable! Really nice freashly cooked food and nice real old pub feel! And ideally located for a trip to alton towers
