gross
Liked: We had sugar ants in our room the entire stay. We reached out to try and get help but NO ONE returned our text or emails. Even after I emailed several times upon returning home. NOT A SINGLE REPLY. I could go on, but I'm tired of writing about this with no reply
Disliked: Unsanitary room with the amount of sugar ants in our main area and in our bathroom.

Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like

Excellent
Liked: Excellent accommodations for pets and owners. Ashley was super helpful when checking in. Food was great, and the doggie bed was such a cute touch. Not to mention parking was so great but I didn’t even need my car since everything was walkable. 10/10 my pet and I will be back

Doesn’t allow young children but...
Liked: Location was good and room looked very homey
Disliked: Unfortunately we were asked to leave within five minutes of checking in because the property doesn’t allow children under 10. However, booking.com did not have this policy listed, it was not on the confirmation email, and I had to search to even find it on the inn’s website. It’s listed all the way at the bottom of the guest policy page, after their super long dog policy, which didn’t apply to us as we weren’t bringing our dog (and good thing we didn’t, as we wouldn’t have been able to find another place to stay!). When the manager first tried to talk to my husband and I about the no-kids policy, my daughter started crying (she’s 3) because she wanted to be with me in the hall. My husband then took her and our son (twins) outside so I could concentrate. The hotel manager was explaining to me their policy, including how young children “make noise” and made a comment how my kids “were already crying.” The tone in which she said this came across very condescending. When I pointed out this was a dog inn, she said they ask people whose dogs bark too much to leave too, which seems a little ridiculous considering multiple dogs may bark if they hear others in the building. She even admitted that the no children policy is hard to find on their website, which is ridiculous. My husband later told me she made a comment to him that B&Bs do not normally allow young children (“for future reference”—again, in a condescending manner). However, this location was advertised as an inn, not a B&B (not to mention, the breakfast is advertised as grab and go, so I didn’t even consider it a B&B). The location was perfect and the room was very appealing, but I wouldn’t come back here without my kids. My husband and I felt very insulted and talked down to.

We are so grateful to...
Liked: Location was exceptional, short walking distance to Thames St., and the wharf. Very short, safe walk to park to walk dog day and evening. Breakfast was convenient and delicious as well as excellent 24 hour coffee service. Price was very affordable for midweek, off season stay. Very accommodating to all well behaved dogs.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful!
