Disliked: the shower in room 111 not user friendly ¬ working correctly, the price of breakfasts too high. I think £30 for 2 breakfasts was priced too high!

Very good

Liked: Room and location was wonderful, easy access to the New Forest, the gardens were beautiful.
Disliked: Vegan food choices could have been less predictable and more in keeping with the style and service for non vegetarian/vegans. Although the quality of food was good.

Liked: Breakfast was ok. At £15 not very good value for money.
Disliked: First impression, could have been in an old people's home. The decor was very late 80's early 90's. Carpet on bathroom floor, really. Carpet up the side of the bath, says it all. Mentioned water pressure to reception, I had to put up with scalding hot/really cold shower. Relieved that I was only there for I night.

Disappointing

Liked: The hotel was close enough for us to drive to the family wedding we had travelled down to Hampshire for.
Disliked: We had booked a family room for 2 nights and paid £475 for it!!!! So obviously we were expecting a lovely hotel with overly helpful staff and a lovely familyroom.When we arrived the receptionist handed me 2 room keys.My teenager was meany to sleep in a bedroom on her own, this was never going to happen in a new place, very daunting for her, and also not what I'd booked. Therefore, my partner had to sleep in this second bedroom alone.The receptionist didn't offer us any kind of gesture for the inconvenience, not even a free drink at the bar. we were looking forward to turning up to a nice comfy family bedroom after a long drive, I was really, so disappointed and upset, I was tired, and this was just not what I had paid for. I went to sleep quite upset.Then, after this disappointment on arrival, l just noticed everything that was wrong. The shower head was covered in limescale and obviously hadn't been deep cleaned in months.There were also cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling again. It obviously hadn't been cleaned that deeply.Housekeeping came into our room even tho I didn't leave the makeup room sign on the door.They didn't remake the bed, just emptied the bin, and left 6 milk sachets. Didn't refill the sugar or bottled water, although I wouldn't have used the sugar sachets, as were all hard and stuck together anyway. I paid £10 to hire a travel cot, although I was assured it would be a cot on arrival. Luckily, we had brought our baby's sleep nest with us, as I wouldn't have put him straight into that travel cot.a Travle cot is not a cot.The bed was uncomfortable, lumpy, and bumpy, and the headboard made annoying squeaky noilses every time you moved in the bed.

Luxuriously comfortable & a feast...

Liked: We needed a rest after London, Passford is perfect. Comfortable, quiet, beautiful gardens, friendly helpful staff, spacious, historical. What more can I say.
