Liked: Nothing!!!! Terrible customer service!!!
Disliked: I was kicked out 2 1/2 hours after checking into the hotel room! Because I was unaware of the no pet rule because my husband did the check in, plus it is a service dog with papers so that's illegal! The owner lady came pounding on my room door and said I have 5 minutes to get out of she is calling the cops! Thats crazy? And it was thanksgiving! No wonder they only had two cars In the parking!

Liked: First of all, it was never mentioned to us anything about breakfast, not even sure where it COULD be? The place seemed very clean, like it had a facelift recently, both inside and out...the air conditioning was easy to use, in some hotels it is complicated...the desk chair was very comfortable, host was very friendly...
Disliked: We travel A LOT, and what would have made a huge difference is something so simple and I would recommend that you meet these needs: 1. The towels were HORRIBLE, small and extremely rough, very easy to buy decent towels 2. There were no wash cloths, another easy thing to remedy 3. There was no place to put your soap while in the shower so it tended to fall to the floor and made it slippery 4. Lighting needs improvement, maybe a floor lamp near the chair 5. A warmer blanket will be needed as the weather gets colder, what is there now is not sufficient 6. It is a much nicer place than the entry suggests, having no lobby and just a window to go up to where you ring the bell can make it seem like a very low class place which it is not.

Handy for santa Anita racetrack...

Liked: Owner was very helpful and looked after me well. Large room but very basic.
Disliked: This is a very basic motel with few facilities at the east end of Pasadena, i.e. the less affluent area. Bit unnerving that owner encouraged me to deadlock the door at night. But I didn't encounter any problems. Should probably be a bit cheaper as $155 for one night considering the basic nature and no breakfast was a bit high.

Disliked: The fitted sheet was covered with stains and should have been thrown out long before. The room was so heavy with disinfectant smell, I never adjusted to it.
