Overall, great hotel and I...

Liked: Location was great. Nearby coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Garden and pool area was fantastic...only we had cold rainy weather. Historic hotel was beautiful.
Disliked: One early Sunday morning was noisy. Alarms going off at 4:30am and loud guitar and singing at 5am. I was there 3 nights and that was the only noisy night. Parking cost $29/day and bottled water was $8.....so bring your own.

Liked: I had an executive corner and it was great for an individual to get some work done and take advantage of Pasadena offerings. Note that this room would be more challenging for two people. It has only partial walls to separate the shower and bathroom from sleep/work area. So…it would be intimate…but not in the cool way.
Disliked: The overnight parking costs and you have no other options in Pasadena but the dates I was there it wasn’t exorbitant. The parking lot is a a bit of a hassle, but manageable.

Liked: The location and the lobby. And that it is a renovated old hotel.
Disliked: The design of the rooms was trying too hard and tacky. The windows do not open, which was the main issue. It’s California, I would like fresh air please. They were too cheap in renovating the hotel to repair operations to the sash windows. The first room I had smelled funny and the carpet was wet and they ended up moving me.

Liked: Location is nice. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable.
Disliked: Broken shade in the room. No shampoo or body wash, just one bar of soap at the sink. Complimentary bottled water in the room would be nice.
