Lovely and cosy, would stay...

Liked: The hostel is historic but modern, we stayed in a queen bedroom with a shared bathroom and it was so cosy, plenty of space! Abe helped us with anything we needed and the owners were so lovely. A family feel to the hostel!
Disliked: They were doing renovations while we stayed but they did them so fast and after a few days we had a brand new kitchen, which was great !

Liked: We really liked how safe you felt and also how close to everything in the town

You get what you can...

Liked: It is one of the cheapest options to have a stay in Canmore or nearby Banff. The staff is also kind and helpful.
Disliked: There wasn't any stove and much space in the shower. No area is provided, where you can change clothes, after taking a shower

Liked: A nice place to stay with friends as a younger group
Disliked: the kitchen was missing equipment making it non-functional. There wasn't included breakfast as listed. The "bar" downstairs was Saturday night a techno club, so everything in our room was vibrating with the bass. The quiet hours made no sense as the bar does not comply with these.
