Disliked: It was dirty, there were stains everywhere on the floor on the windows on the headboard of the bed there was a smashed bottle in the carpark and in the entrance of the reception, also the parking is real bad it's so small it's hard to get a car into, your better off parking down in the public carpark,

Liked: Location was good if we had stayed.
Disliked: Starting from the entrance. There was no receptionist and the security doors were open to the public for airflow including the back emergency escape.We had to call the receptionist on our phone (goodluck if you hadn't organised a sim...) which then told us to get a key from a lockbox.Room 5 (my room) had been previously broken into and since been fixed... Sort of, looked like a good push could've opened the door.Once inside, the room was dusty and grimy with everything needing a solid clean. I'd let most of that slide for the price... But the room was very cold and we only had a basic oil heater to heat the room which was very dusty.Lastly the bedsheets were old and although they had been clean still had a lot of old stains on them so they did not appear clean.Half the lights didn't even seem to work...

Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable, close to where I needed to be and great value for money.

Liked: Nothing. this property should be immediately removed from the listing unless they make significant changes in safety and cleanliness.
Disliked: This property should not be on booking.com at all. It does not represent Auckland accomodation. Unbelievably dirty and poor maintenance around the house, rubbish used old mattresses behind the hotel at the customers parking. It was windy outside and the room doors were rattling the whole night like crazy. Fire alarms in a hallway beeping needed a battery replacement. I never expected something like that in such a lovely, central area of Parnell. Booking has to review this listing seriously.
