Less than 5 miles from Newport and 3 miles from the M4 motorway The Parkway Hotel & Spa has a 4-star rating from the AA. Ravello's Restaurant offers an à la carte menu of European dishes made using fresh local produce. The traditional carvery has also proved popular as have the hotel's coffee shop and bar. The Parkway offers a range of facilities including snooker and billiard tables outside chess and boules green as well as a badminton and croquet lawn. Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Marta in the restaurant is exceptional and it's good to see the other staff looking to her for training in order to give guests quality service. The facilities such as the spa area are an added bonus and the food was good too; our waitress Maddie was very helpful and sweet.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: Room needs refurb.

I do love the park...

Liked: I have visited a lot and it has been one of my favourite places for years. The staff are great and it’s clean and tidy and convenient location for a break away.
Disliked: Trying to get in and out of the spa was a nightmare. It took us 15 minutes to finally see staff to ask them to open the door for us to leave. The food in the restaurant wasn’t great at all. We had stea, the rump and it was meant to be medium rare but it was over cooked and so chewy and the chips were like potatoes and had a horrible taste to them. Barely ate it and was so disappointed especially when you pay 75£ for two meals and two drinks and one starter after already paying to stay there and the bar is not cheap.

Very comfortable stay.

Liked: I thought I had booked and paid for breakfast so surprised when I was told I needed to pay extra for this. I must take more care if I book this hotel again.
Disliked: Having to pay for breakfast when I thought I had already done this

Nice pleasant stay with a...

Liked: Lovely friendly staff and the pool facilities were excellent. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant and the staff were great, however, the staff were miserable in the morning and breakfast was just ok. The room was pleasant but the lack of air conditioning made it very difficult to sleep. They did provide a fan but it was still way too hot
Disliked: Lack of air conditioning and maybe a little updating in the rooms.

Perfect relaxing hideaway

Liked: Lovely atmosphere, staff lovely, pool and spa clean
