Budget friendly, no frills

Liked: Great location. Walking distance to trams, shopping centre, bars, convenience stores and Ikon Park. Free parking on-site and in the street. Lift access. Friendly staff. Very budget friendly no frills accom suitable for those trips where you're barely in the room.
Disliked: The whole place is crying out for a revamp. Carpet on stairs and hallways is really worn and dirty. Rooms tidy but not well cleaned. Filthy toilet brush on display. Small TV not suited to room size. Stove missing 2 of 4 knobs. Rooms cold with draft under door and not great curtains. Small oil heater not suitable for room size and worn off markings so took a bit to figure out. 2nd floor room definitely not as clean and comfortable as previously stayed in ground floor room.

Liked: Close to Ikon Park, we could walk there to watch the footy. Parking available, close to shops, comfortable for one night stay.
Disliked: Nothing.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Liked: The location is convenient, tram stop nearby into the city.
Disliked: It was run down, broken furniture, bad smell. Lots of banging and construction noise early in the morning. Have been told my security deposit has been reimbursed back into my bank account but it’s been 4 weeks and still haven’t received it. Will be taking legal action to get my deposit back.
