Parkside International Hotel

We were greeted by a nice receptionist; checked in quickly and accessed our room easily. Room was fine - clean with shower over the bath and tea and coffee making facilities. The TV had plenty of channels and worked well. The room cost £220.00 and this reflects the season and the Reading festival being on. Overall it was an average room and served the purpose of a convenient location to walk to the Reading Festival.

Liked: Good location for Reading Festival.
Disliked: Overpriced for the room but to be expected as it was during the Reading Festival.

Dated disappointing and run down,...

Liked: not much really
Disliked: Room very hot, no air conditioning, but a fan provided which was damaged on the base, and PAT test had expired over a year previously, the pillows on the bed smelt and need replacing.

Liked: The food was nice and value for moneyBed was comfortable Staff were amazing and helpful
Disliked: The shower curtain and poles need to be replaced rusty pole and curtain have to hold out of the way to be able to shower

The rooms are basic but...

Disliked: It was very warm there was a fan in room but very noisy
