Liked: What I liked most about my stay was how clean and comfy the room was and how nice the staff are. I travel for work a lot and it is usually hard to find a place that is a good price AND clean and comfy but Parkside Inn met that criteria nicely.

Liked: The rooms had been updated and were fresh and airy. The bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Very little hot water and no coffee pot in the room

Stay away from this place

Liked: Hotel location was convenient for my agenda. Tim Horton's and few restaurants around, so easy to get food.
Disliked: Room was filthy looking, dirty dusty floor, multiple insects in the bedroom and on bathroom floor. Room heating did not work, thus freezing during the night. Very old motel, noisy, falling apart.And after all, the hotel double charged my credit card on March 17, 2024 (one month after my stay) with another $150 dollars, despite I've already paid for my room on February 16, 2024, the amount of $170.91 dollars. When I called the front desk on March 18 to resolve the issue the woman at the front desk start shouting on me and refused to even listed what am I calling about.ABSOLUTELY NOT APPROPRIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE!STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ROBBED!

Liked: Staff was on hand when you needed something. Beds where good.Parking lot had good lighting at night.Room was clean.
Disliked: No dead bolt or locking device at all on your door to outside.anyone of the staff person with a key could come into room at anytime.while staying 3 nights. No kleenex supplied, no beds made up , no garbage emptied.room had a commercial feel to it.Fridge was a good size but no freezer on fridge to keep frozen food frozen.

Liked: The staff was friend ly even although you didn't really see them after you check in, the tv was good and having the mini fridge in the room was nice but it was stained inside
Disliked: I could see electrical wiring in the light in the shower, the fan sounded like a jet engine, the bed was really low to the floor and way too soft, the lights where connected to the bed, the wall outlets where in weird locations, had an odd layout, there wasn't a closet or drawers, I think a reno is a must

Liked: Room was at a well-regulated temperature, noise-free, with unique antique furniture and a very comfortable bed. Excellent service and nice food at the nearby Korean kitchen restaurant.
Disliked: The stairs were mostly outdoors and so had snow that was not removed properly and could constitute a slip and fall hazard. There were a few open garbage bins on the ground floor corridor. The reception office was not easy to identify and locate immediately I parked within the enclosed area of the facility and initially there was no one there; the receptionist was making some rooms and took a few minutes to come over and attend to me.
