Disliked: Place was clean but dated not sure how got 5 star Parking / room pokey - shower handle rusty shower rose old and leaking

Relaxing stay in Whangārei

Liked: An easy 5 minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Convenient to food, sights, and shopping but just outside of the central district. A quiet, tranquil spot to rest after a day of activities. A great sized room with a large lounge and kitchenette across the hall and a sunny terrace overlooking the river.
Disliked: No notes!

Very tidy and clean inside...

Liked: It’s convenient as it’s right in town, the whole stay was very comfortable as well as the setting of the place inside and view looking out from the garden area.
Disliked: The spouting outside. I couldn’t enjoy a coffee outside in the morning.

A most lovely place to...

Liked: The place exceeded my expectations: spacious room, comfortable bed, adjustable bed lights as well as the usual ceiling lights, bathroom spacious, everything very neat& tidy and of better quality than usual accommodation. A very well-stocked kitchen nearby, with dining and lounge furniture also.
Disliked: As I have a walking disability, the steepness of the outside of the property was uncomfortable and a bit difficult. The street was very steep also which meant that I really had to drive rather than walk which was a pity as the Town Basin etc is very close by.
