Great location, great reasonably priced

Liked: Brilliant location, large room and great additions like branded soaps etc, very reasonably priced
Disliked: Our room could have done with a bit of a freshen up, touching up paint etc.

Liked: The room was very comfortable and the bedsheets and towels are fantastic. Hydrating stations a plus.
Disliked: We were in room 1408. The television was placed smack in the middle on the counter which divides the room into "living" section and "sleeping" section. Quite unnecessary. The TV should have been put on the wall out of the way. The whole point of choosing the hotel was due to the larger room size. The dividing element made the room feel smaller. Lastly: GET MORE TOWEL RACKS into the bathroom!

Amazing value for money

Liked: First of all, I was genuinely surprised to find a hotel of this quality in New York for around $300 per night.These days, many hotels in New York are just expensive — often dirty, with poor service and inconvenient locations — but that wasn’t the case here at all.The room felt very new and was clean.The location was excellent, with Bryant Park right in front of the hotel, and there were plenty of cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, which made everything very convenient.The room might feel a bit small for families, but it’s perfectly fine for one person, and probably manageable for a couple if you don’t mind a compact space (about the size of a typical business hotel room in Japan).As a Japanese guest, the only thing I don't like was that the sink and toilet were placed right next to each other — which may bother cleanliness-conscious Japanese travelers. That said, it’s a minor issue, and I don’t think guests from other countries would be bothered by it at all.Overall, I can definitely recommend this hotel.If I come back to New York for work and need a place to stay alone, there’s a 99% chance I’ll stay here again.
