Just Okay Could have been...

Liked: The location is wonderful!! Right across from the beach!! Close to shops and restaurants. And very close to all pickups for tours around the island.
Disliked: The room did not meet expectations. Cracks in the wall near the HVAC which is very loud. Rust on the towel racks. Very small for the price and the pictures on the site do not give a solid view of the rooms.Also we were early celebrating our anniversary and I noted that in the reservation and it seemed to be completely missed when we checked in.

Liked: Great location, nice staff, discounts at some restaurants and beach towels included.
Disliked: Old and very noisy room due to old air ventilation system. Shower handle and towel hooks coming off. The building needs to be modernized and upgraded. Very expensive daily car parking fee.Coffee machine broken.

Great location, friendly staff, let...

Liked: Excellent location right on the beach. Transport, shops and restaurants at the door.
Disliked: Noisy, noisy, noisy!. The main downside was the traffic noise from loud vehicles at any time of the day or night. We slept with earplugs, but it was still an issue.

Location on point hotel, not...

Liked: It’s in a good spot for the beach and sunset.Lots of different food options, in and around the property.
Disliked: The place is living in the 70s, I mean if I was paying full price I’d probably go somewhere more updated.Room wasn’t ready so they did offer a one bedroom suite, at the price of 70 dollars more…. Let’s just say I didn’t want to take pictures of the room…

Overall a Great place to...

Liked: Excellent location. Great balcony overlooking the beach. Friendly pigeons pop in for a visit. Great to have the free water facility and sunscreen. Great comfort king bed.
Disliked: The rooms could do with some updating. But they are clean. In particular the sockets are all very loose, could do with new carpet. Musty smell when locked up. Not much shower pressure. Tap in the shower very wobbly.

Liked: Very close to Waikīkī beach We were given food vouchers
Disliked: Parking is expensive

The location is excellent and...

Liked: The location is fantastic, the beach is right across the road.
Disliked: The facilities are very dated. The bathrooms are in need of renovation, there are cracks in the vanity which has been filed with silicon which has re-cracked, rust on the towel racks and metal fixtures. Mould has been painted over.The standard room comes with a very small balcony and does not have table or chairs. Only the ocean view or ocean front rooms have the large balcony with table and chairs as shown in the photos.You can hire out chairs, umbrellas equipment e.c.t from the beach caddy shop next to the hotel for free (this is included in your resort fee price), however the shop needs the items returned by 5pm. This means you have to hire out the items day by day, you can't borrow it for your duration. Some guests might find this annoying.We were accidentally charged a holding fee for valet parking which we did not use. The valet simply misunderstood the room number from a guest and our room number was used instead. Simple mistake but not a pleasant experience to deal with when your on holiday.
