Fantastic hotel.

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and staff were fantastic too. Highly recommended good location too.
Disliked: Bathroom in room could have been a little more private.

Nice hotel in the middle...

Liked: Decent size clean rooms and comfy bed. Breakfast buffet is good and versatile even though there isn't any alteration from day to day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is central and yet the street in front of the hotel is quiet without traffic noise. Interior is little kitsch with all the stock references and dollar carpets but otherwise the building itself is quite classy.
Disliked: AC wasn't efficient enough to handle 30+ C heatwave in Berlin. Overall clean and well maintained property but you can see some wear here and there already. Gym was a disappointment and it didn't have proper free weights to do any serious training. Anyway, I would definitely consider coming again next time I visit Berlin.

Close to the metro but...

Liked: This place is very close to the bus and metro station, that was very good. The AC worked fine which was important during that warm week.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room wasn't properly cleaned. When we arrived there was hair on the floor, the room was quite dusty and the bathroom wasn't super clean either. The showergel pump also didn't work for our entire stay. We told the people in the reception about it but it still wasn't fixed. For us, this wasn't value for our money and we wouldn't stay here again or recommend it to anyone we know.
