Superb
Liked: Very comfortable, friendly staff. Easy access for help aswell, since you can contact their helpdesk with whatsapp. They have a nice restaurant and serve a breakfast buffet on the ground floor. There are also umbrellas for rent, free for 48hrs.
Disliked: Some of the lounge pillows were abit dirty, but I just put these aside. The AC seemed to be malfunctioning at first, but the helpdesk resolved the issue soon after inquiry.

Too good
Liked: Super clean, practical and well equipped. The staff all amazing. Good location safe and quiet. Great food at the restaurant.
Disliked: The bar closes at 10:30pm that was the only downside but it was not a big deal.

Liked: We loved the location - quaint and plenty of restaurants nearby and access to Vondelpark. The hotel set up the sofa bed upon request prior to arrival which was a nice touch and gave our kids the kids amenity kit at check in which was very nice

Loved the location BUT....
Liked: The hotel has a great location a stone away from the city center and served by many cafes and restaurants in the area. The hotel has a good vibe and decor. Also, you feel very safe in this area and there is the park too.
Disliked: A few things:1) When I checked in the young lady was going to charge me again even-though I told it is paid already, she asked me to show her my bank transactions history and showing her my receipt in booking.com was not enough. So I asked her to talk to her manger who told her I was right... !2) I went to the bar for a small bite. I was first, then a young couple right after me, and then an old American couple. The young lady (from Rome, Itlay) started serving the last customers (the American couple) and ignored us completely despite the fact the other young couple asked her to serve them first a couple of time. It is either lack of professionalism or racism.3) I always have to call the reception after 2:30 PM to clean my room every day, it is annoying to be honest. The housekeeping is done in rush there are still dirt left uncleaned.I believe the older man (perhaps the manger) is excellent. But, it is clear the issue with the young staff hired at this hotel. They are nice and friendly but lack experience.
