My favourite hotel in Trier

Liked: Excellent location in the centre of Trier, with clean, comfortable rooms, friendly and efficient staff, a cosy bar and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Not the cheapest hotel in Trier, but you get what you pay for.

Bad hotel

Liked: I was disappointed first by Booking.com that charged me the full amount five days in advance although the booking confirmation document says that I can cancel my reservation free of charge three days before arrival, not five days. Then upon arrival at around one pm, the lady at the reception said wait until three pm, without checking if there are empty rooms.The room has no telephone and the furniture is outdated. The WiFi is weak and only one lift is working. My room was facing a building with no good view

Liked: The location is very convenient to enjoy the old city center, with many restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel's breakfast buffet is fabulous!
