We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the PK Plaza, our 1st time here and hopefully not our last. One night stay for the Gladys Knight Farewell Tour 02/07/24. Luke has been a bonus to this hotel. I've dealt with him regarding several changes in my confirmation booking. He swiftly, professionally and with a friendly manner deals with any hiccups or rearranging with ease. The hotel is amazingly clean and modern, very comfortable and is in a prime location for all your city needs. Well done team, thanks from my sister and I. (Sunderland)

Liked: Cleanliness;warm, friendly staff and well situated in the city for everything one is interested in.
Disliked: Strange approach to underground hotel parking and accessing the entrance via an intercom buzzer, especially for senior citizens being newbies to the daunting city. Maybe a good call to highlight this to future clients that are not familiar with the hotel, especially from other UK cities.

Liked: I was very lucky to get an upgrade, so had a really large room - thank you!Staff were really helpful and friendly.Windows that still open a little - I need proper outside air!Didnt see much else as I just slept! Lovely bed, duvet, pillow etc.
Disliked: The bath was a little dated. probably needs replacing.The lighting in the bedroom was too bright, there was no little side lights / bedside lamps. I let reception know - they seemed surprised so hope that gets fixed soon.
