We wouldn?t stay again, we...
Liked: The breakfast was lovely and the bed was very comfy.
Disliked: The room wasn?t fully clean when we arrived - dirty cups in the room, dirty cups outside our room plus other rooms dirty room service sitting in the corridor from breakfast till 9pm at night. When they replaced the dirty cups the cups they gave us were still dirty - I just couldn?t be bothered to complain anymore! We had no robes in our room or towels, they replaced both but gave us children robes so had to ask again to be replaced The staff weren?t very friendly or helpful. There was a problem with booking the pool/sauna etc online system and when we went to reception we were told to go to the pool and sort it ourselves. We went to the pool 2 x but no staff anywhere to be seen. Eventually just went into the pool because we got fed up waiting. The pool itself didn?t feel clean, very cloudy and couldn?t see our feet. We were told that it is cleaned with sand and it is perfectly clean. There was hair and dirt floating in the pool, the steam room had mould/black stuff in the corner. Turned up for dinner to be told there was a private function and restaurant was closed and to go to another floor, the only menu we were given was the room service menu. There was two menus in our room - one for bar and one for room service and very similar menus apart from the price - huge difference. We went to the bar and only given room service menu which was very expensive compared to the other menu. When questioned we were told it was the only menu available. We were charged a 12.5% service charge but we it wasn?t table service and never got our sides. When I mentioned this to reception he argued with me and said this wasn?t true.Spoke to reception about our stay and said we were very disappointed with the service we had received, felt the price we paid they should of been better and had higher expectations. The staff member commented that we had been upgraded As if we should be grateful however I would of rather had a better experience and a standard room.
