I was awake until 5.30 in the morning from the lifts going up and down. Then was woken at 7.30am by the builders next door. Not good sleep when you're 6 months pregnant. Was glad to get home for some sleep which was a shame as the shopping trip went out of the window.

Liked: Central location. Minutes walk from train station and centre. Lovely large room with great air conditioning. Good breakfast selection.

It was nice and clean

Liked: It was located in a good part of the city
Disliked: The double room we stayed in had two single beds pushed together so wasn’t comfortable

Best Value for the Quid...

Liked: without asking for it I got a lovely room on 15th floor with a phenomenal view of the City's Central Railway Station District.My Windows faced east, this meant that at 5 to six I was fully awake just before sunset, then the Room was fully lit and this makes me an early bird, which normally at home a I am NOT the least... in this case it prove beneficial, since I needed to attend a tournament and play at 09:30, and by waking up such early I had plenty of time preparing, showering, having breakfast and have an additional Espresso at WOLFox's outside Wellington as well. Despite Marches & Parades going on this weekend, the room was perfectly quiet. at breakfast defo ask for fried eggs sunny side up, they are available, but not directly at the buffet, otherwise rich choice of Continental cold cuts like Chorizo, ham and Mackerel, really nice!
Disliked: No brush available to remove unsavoury stains in the bathroom, very embarrassing ...

Generally good value for a...

Liked: Central location, friendly staff, dog friendly
Disliked: There was dust on the socket covers in room 1006, and the shower control was corroded. The sink tap does not easily switch off and will waste a lot of water. The staff didn’t know the name of the street on which the hotel entrance is when I phoned ahead.
