Nice staff but we had...

Liked: Breakfast was at the restaurant next door. It was quite good.
Disliked: The room was tiny and depressing. There was no coffee maker, let alone hair dryer, refrigerator etc. If we had been given one of the less depressing rooms ( which we passed at check up as they were being cleaned), we might have not cared about the lack amenities because of charm. The staff was very lovely. However, I was asked if I would mind a room with 2 beds rather than a king. They didn’t say it was one twin and one double - not even a queen and that there would not even be a chair in the room because it was so small.

Antique looking hotel.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, antique boutique looking. Staff are professional and kind.
Disliked: Walls are so thin you can hear everyone’s conversation. People next-door woke up at 6:30 in the morning and talked for two hours. They did not let me sleep.

Charming "old" Florida Hotel.

Liked: Quaint, sheik, shabby decor.Lobby really "old" Florida, with lots of charm.Rooms very spacious, with the front deck overlooking the main street.Great location
Disliked: Bathrooms in need of serious upgrading.

Beautiful downstairs reception area, work...

Disliked: Repairs to bath , faucet handle fell off while I was taking shower and sink faucet leaked . Did not have maid service until the last night I was there. Stair carpet needed a good vacuum at least . Walls are so thin, I could hear every word in the next room. I know it’s an old place, but believe sound proofing needs to be done to the walls
