Liked: Location was good. Oldie world type hotel so quaint from that prospective. Beds comfy.
Disliked: Train track right beside room. Amtrak passing shook whole hotel. Trains started around 6am, although quieter at weekend. Although it is a very old building the floors in the room were filthy but were dark wood so you wouldn't notice. Only found out they were dirty because I spilt water on the floor and wiped it up. I was shocked by the dirt that came up :( rugs looked like they hadn't been washed in 20 years. Bathroom quite treacherous, but understand very old building.If you value your sleep do not stay here!! Came home exhausted!!

Romantic stay in Antique Bed...

Liked: This hotel was built in 1922. We enjoyed staying a true antique over 100 years old. Bed and Breakfast feel. Had a King Room with sitting area and comfy bedding and a Balcony overlooking bustling Park Ave. If you love people watching and cruising Lamborghinis and Ferraris passing by this is your place. My husband had a business meeting at Church Street station and took the train a block away. Very convenient. No need for a car, restaurants and shops are just outside your door. I went to the Fresh Farmers Market across the park on Saturday morning. Everything was fresh and delicious. We visited the Morse Museum on Friday and did Palm Sunday at St. Margaret Mary Church down the block. We'll be back!
