Liked: Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Goof provision of in room facilities.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little tired. The shower and bath were in need of replacing as they were old and not fit for purpose.

Good place, good views, but...
Liked: The location is excellent, that's for sure. It literally overlooks the London Eye, hence you have to spend a few minutes to get to the Westminster area or Waterloo station.Breakfast is decent, with many fresh fruit, made-to-order omelets (cheese and plain), a standard English selection, and a few nice touches (gluten-free bread, kid's corner, several milk options, etc.). I would appreciate some variety though, especially after a few days.I enjoyed using the Nespresso machine in the room, and the city view of Waterloo Station with the City skyline was magnificent. Apart from that, I can mention good water pressure, having both bath and shower is very nice, and two TVs in the room is great, especially when traveling with kids.
Disliked: Unfortunately, for the outrageous amount of money they charge per night, I would expect quite a few things that were missing. First of all, it's cleanliness or lack thereof. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was a huge ball of hair comfortably residing on the table. Not the best way to make an impression, right?To be honest, I was heard when I brought this up with a hotel manager, and he quickly moved us to a new room (the same, but higher floor), and offered a discount voucher, which we used, along with some complimentary drinks and fruit.That was not the end of cleaning issues, though. The next day staff forgot a wet brush in the room, but all they did was change towels (even if we didn't ask for that). I still could see a lot of dust on pretty much any surface. I even had to ask for replacement capsules because no one bothered to replenish those during the week of our stay.Overall, the cleaning was very inconsistent, and again - not up to the bar of the hotel level and price they charge.
