Liked: Reception and bar service was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything good, thanks.

I do love to be...

Liked: The location is brilliant. It is right between the pier/funfair and town centre. You can't get more central than that. Lovely views from sea view room on 4th floor. Lovely watching ships go past and funfair action.
Disliked: The air con didn't seem to work and bedroom felt hot. Bar/breakfast canteen was too cold. Air con needs re-calibration.

Good value, great location.

Disliked: Partly a bit old and could use some refurbishing but still ok.

Disappointing

Liked: Just the location and the view from the balcony
Disliked: There was no aircon during a hot and sunny weekend, the staff lied saying its a new system but we ended up having three dusty fans. They didn't clean our room when we requested it.

For a short reasonably priced...

Liked: Great location, helpful friendly staff, large rooms, good shower!!
Disliked: Filthy carpets , lots of dust and only 1 pillow each 😭🤣

Good location yet many things...

Liked: The room was spacious and the one good thing about it was that it was right by the beach and right by the shopping centres so it was easy to visit the beach and shops as well to get food, i think the location was the best part about the property
Disliked: There were a lot of small disappointments. For example they say that the hair dryer and the air conditioning is included in the standard room but the hair dryer was not working at all in our room so we took it upon ourselves so we took it to the staff and they seemed happy to help and said they would sort it out immediately however we never received it back in the time of our stay. Also, our room was supposed to come with air conditioning but the air conditioning was not working at all, when we stayed the temperature reached 35 degrees, our room throughout the entire stay was boiling hot and humid. There was no escape from the heat, and mind you, the room was pet friendly so we had our dog with us. Felt terrible for her for having to stay in such a room. We were also visiting during a birthday, so these hassles made the stay much less enjoyable.

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff amazing view.I also asked for a room with a bath in on suite, which they also let us have. And was all extremely good value for money.

Liked: Location, close to seafront and town
Disliked: Cleanliness and condition of the room, the carpet in the room was disgusting, (carpets in lobby area outside room bad too) the curtains were dirty, the walls were marked and the skirting in poor state of repair. Bathroom fixtures were worn and has scale deposits around taps, plug, overflow and shower tray. The room was hot, bed small and uncomfortable, extract didnt work and hairdryer smelled and sounded like it was going to blow up in my hand. The light switch was broken on bedside lamp. Due to the state of the room we didnt bother booking breakfast and left as early as possible the next morning. Very disappointed at the quality of this accommodation from such a well know brand. Awful overnight stay, Will be requesting a refund.
