Not a Fan

Liked: Jusette on the front desk (I know I murdered her name) was awesome -- nice, kind, accommodating, happy ... Loved her! She always acknowledged us with a friendly greeting and a smile that would light up the room! Location was convenient next to the train station; it was a ways from restaurants and the town center.
Disliked: We were there for 7 nights. Initially we were provided with freeze dried coffee in our room. After the first night, it was never refilled. Had to go to the dining room and purchase coffee. (Every other European hotel we booked had an espresso machine in the room.) No lotion. No room frig. No fan in the bathroom, so everything steamed up even with the door open. It was 78 degrees outside with only heat as an option -- no A/C or fan; they hadn't switched over. We were there the beginning of May, prior to their "season transition." The room had a window, no screen, so we slept with it open - road, train and pedestrian noise. According to the posted floor plans, we were in the smallest room - for a 7 night stay? It was cramped. The stay was ok, not great. All our other hotels had been great. We had expected more from a Radisson.

OK, wirh several good points. Staff very cheerful and helpful.

Liked: beds very comfy, breakfast fine.
Disliked: shower not working properly parking not "at" hotel but in a parkhouse nearby, for which the instructions were practically non-existent (even though I understand written Flemish). Both entering and exiting were stressful. That is not under the direcion of the hotel, but I had hoped for a hotel at which I could actually arrive by car. The situation is not clear on the booking.com page.
