For the price, it does...

Liked: The room was clean enough but not pristine. The facilities were OK. For the price that you are paying, it is fine. It's not a great area of Walsall and is opposite the football stadium but was not an issue for us. We were going to eat in the restaurant which opened at 6 and due to us needing to eat early, we thought we would try it. The lights were off and not a single person to be seen so we gave it a miss and ended up in McDonalds. When we got home from our evening out, there was not a single person to be seen in the bar at 10:30pm except one member of staff who was very pleasant.Nice enough and OK facilities for the price.
Disliked: Not the cleanest place we have been to.Lady on reception kept offering me and my male partner the chance to switch to twin beds as though I had made a mistake with my booking, I guess because he is older than I am.

Very poor

Disliked: Soon as we entered the smell of thr hitel was very bad. Lift smelt even bad. Very old looking decor in room and smelly throughout.
