Great location!

Liked: What a fantastic location! In the heart of Galway, we were able to walk to Eyre Square, down the shopping street, along the canal, and found great pubs and eating places. We found a fantastic pub nearby (O'Connell's Bar) and had one of our best nights out in Ireland. The people are just so friendly! We had a good room, no view and a bit tight, but that was okay. We had a bath, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Parking was a little tricky, but we worked it out by carefully reading the parking directions supplied by the hotel. Parking was in a multi-storey parking station behind the hotel. There was plenty of parking, a lift, and it was easy enough to wheel our luggage through the back entrance of the hotel. Check in was easy too, our room was ready and there was a lift near reception. We caught the lift but had to lug our bags up one flight of stairs, only to later discover that there was also a lift at the rear of the hotel which would have gone directly to our level. So check with reception which lift you should take!

I would have absolutely no...

Liked: Breakfast like all the food served in the hotel was excellent. The location is also excellent.
Disliked: A very small car park and a cost of €20 per night to park in is expensive. This would be my only criticism as everything else was excellent.
