Pleasant

Liked: Location in the city centre. Decoration was original although not our cup of tea: the theme was fine but the carpet and walls were awkward. We liked the books and the staff were kind.
Disliked: This is not a four star hotel. We stayed in several three and four stars hotels during our stay in Germany and some of the three stars had better facilities (water, tea and coffee, much larger bathrooms). The bathroom was small and the shower was in the tub, very high and difficult to get into. Breakfast time was also awkward: they didn’t have enough room for everyone so tables were in the reception area!! And on the second day we came down one and half hours before closing time and there were no pastries left. The reason was that they didn’t expect so many people. Someone went to buy some but by the time they came back we had already finished. Advice: there is an Edeka just opposite with a nice coffee area, and a huge varieties of pastries and much more to choose from.

A lovely stay in pretty...

Liked: This is a very well located hotel between the train station and the old town and it is easy to get around. It is very well run and the staff were excellent. A shout out goes to the Italian guy on reception who checked us in and remembered our room numbers instantly every time we collected our keys! Everyone was very friendly, from reception to the staff in the breakfast room (an excellent breakfast) to the cleaners. There is fantastic attention to detail in this hotel, with books and information, fresh fruit and snacks in reception. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again.

Liked: The guys In the reception specifically Abdul Mola was very helpful and gentle. The location is very close to old city. Fruit and sweets on reception is very good idea.

Disliked: The breakfast room was a bit to small. Just means getting up a bit earlier.
