Very disappointing experience. I expected...

Liked: There was no breakfast due to re furbishments. We had to find breakfast elsewhere.
Disliked: We were not warned about the refurbishment and only found out upon arrival. There were no facilities to provide breakfast or evening meal. I will not be staying there again.

Disliked: It was a building site, room was in desperate need to be demolished. It was not clean. Due to construction a lot of noise. We couldn’t eat at the hotel and needed to walk to a different facility.If I had known the hotel was under construction I would not have made the reservation. We paid full price (356 pounds) and this wasn’t worth it . We stayed 2 nights and due to reservations we had to stay. If we hadn’t booked the concert I would’ve left . What gets me the most is that we didn’t know it was a building site . I feel that the hotel should have told us and made it clear to us that the entire building was under construction , when we made the reservation. This was not worth the 356 pounds we paid.

Terrible - DO NOT BOOK...

Liked: Location was fantastic.
Disliked: There is a massive renovation scheme ongoing at the hotel. WE WERE NOT informed or advised about this, neither were our friends who were staying in the hotel. I asked other guests and likewise there were not informed. The staff had the same line for guests who were surprised at the works; they blamed booking.com. If you check the website now (nothing there when we were booking) you will see the line: Renovation work of restaurant and fitness centre will be carried out by Monday 21st July 2025. – This does not cover what is going on. There are no bar facilities. There are no general toilets facilities. There is dust foot prints throughout the hotel. You have a room a reception and a lot of noise from the building work.

Liked: Location close to Earls Court station
Disliked: Renovations meant that during the day there were workmen on the balcony outside our room. The window and balcony were dusty so we needed to keep curtains closed. The entry to the hotel was dusty. This was not the fault of cleaners but of the hotel being a construction site. The photos of the hotel when we booked many months ago bore no resemblance to the hotel on our arrival. No foyer area other than a boarded off section, no bar or restaurant for breakfast. This is not a 4 star hotel while construction takes place. Each morning we had to go to reception to get vouchers to take to nearby Marriott for breakfast. This meant waiting in a queue while others checked in or out. It would have been more convenient to get all our vouchers when we checked in but we only found out on the first morning when we enquired where breakfast would be. Room was small but we expected that. What was disappointing was we couldn’t store our open suitcases under the bed. This would have made a huge difference to the space in our room. Had we known about the major renovations taking place we would never have booked this accommodation. Beware!

Liked: The location was excellent - cleanliness was fantastic and very comfortable room
Disliked: The air conditioning wasn’t great wasnt very cool but it was a heatwave so was exceptionally warm
