Liked: Where it was located.
Disliked: The whole building was under scaffolding when we arrived. The air con wasn’t working in the rooms on the hottest day of the year. The hallways were covered in paint from works that was happening in the hotel that we wasn’t informed about.

Liked: The location was good close to bus and hop on hop off bus stops.My only negative would be that we are in our 70s and the tub in the shower was very hard and difficult to step over. Also, the windows did not open fully and it was quite warm.

Liked: Location is great-just down the street from tube station and quiet streets. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Hotel was under construction. No amenities available.

Not worth the money

Disliked: I booked double deluxe room but I got a relatively small room.The whole hotel was covered with scarefolding and had some construction going on. The work started in morning itself before the checkout time and it was difficult to sleep or do any business stuff while staying at hotel.Although it was mentioned while doing the booking, that hotel has a kitchen, it was not open due to the construction work and had only option of walking few mins to get breakfast or anything.Overall, worst experience for a Marriott hotel!I even recommended it to my colleague and she also very disappointed with the hotel.Never going to book again or recommend to anyone!

Disliked: Upon arrival not only was the hotel covered in scaffold but the council was doing sewage work in the street. No one advised us of this situation at stage of booking. The hotel was old and disgusting. Carpet smelt and was lifting which was a trip hazard

Liked: There was no breakfast due to re furbishments. We had to find breakfast elsewhere.
Disliked: We were not warned about the refurbishment and only found out upon arrival. There were no facilities to provide breakfast or evening meal. I will not be staying there again.

Disliked: It was a building site, room was in desperate need to be demolished. It was not clean. Due to construction a lot of noise. We couldn’t eat at the hotel and needed to walk to a different facility.If I had known the hotel was under construction I would not have made the reservation. We paid full price (356 pounds) and this wasn’t worth it . We stayed 2 nights and due to reservations we had to stay. If we hadn’t booked the concert I would’ve left . What gets me the most is that we didn’t know it was a building site . I feel that the hotel should have told us and made it clear to us that the entire building was under construction , when we made the reservation. This was not worth the 356 pounds we paid.
