Park Central South Beach

Disappointing.

Liked: The location was fantastic. Some of the staff were excellent. The provision of beach towels and chairs was much appreciated.
Disliked: The room was small and the bathroom badly ventilated with no extractor fan. Some of the staff were rude and unhelpful. The free breakfast included in the room price was not totally free, just a daily voucher, which did not cover the basic breakfast costs ($6 for a single cup of black tea! + 20% service charge!). At no point were we offered the free downtown shuttle as adverised.

Overall, it was the perfect...

Liked: The hotel exceeded expectations—spotlessly clean and stylishly modern, with the perfect location. We were pleasantly surprised with complimentary room upgrades, which I really appreciated. There were two pools, both of which were peaceful and never crowded. The staff was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Beach access was easy, and the hotel provided towels and beach chairs, making everything hassle-free.
Disliked: The only minor downside was the slow elevators and the layout of the property, as the hotel appears to have acquired separate buildings, making it feel a bit disconnected. However, it wasn’t a major issue

Stunning hotel, perfect central location,...

Liked: The communal areas like the lobby, bar, sun loungers, pool etc are stunning, beautifully decorated and bright and arty.
Disliked: The room was smaller than anticipated, the beds, bedding and curtains in the room were very damp and almost wet and the only way to slightly alleviate this was to have the air conditioning on high, which was bitterly cold.

Disliked: Still haven’t had my deposit money back for the room 2 months after staying

Amazing location, excellent restaurants nearby...

Liked: Staff super friendly. Location is superb. Bikes available for free. Big shout out to the concierge team, they are attentive and helpful!
Disliked: AC was not amazing.

Passable

Liked: I liked the location most of all. Enjoyed the pool greatly, as well as the breakfast voucher.
Disliked: The rooms that I originally booked were very damp. Also, there were no dresser drawers for clothing, and the TV was inoperable throughout entire facility. I realize that this hotel has recently changed owner/management, and I can see potential improvements when things are more in place.

Good

Liked: Right across the street from the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Disliked: Soap dispenser were in a holder on the wall and it was extremely difficult to get any soap out.
