A fantastic location, great hosts.

Liked: The location and views from the property were beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, all cooked by the owner and it was delicious. The dining room with the table set fro breakfast was stunning.
Disliked: Nothing. It was all first class. The lane up to the property was a little scary, but well worth the effort, and the second time up was fine. Once up, the views were spectacular.

Great stay

Liked: Stunning views, very cozy bed and lovely breakfast. Nice spa overlooking the ocean and bushland.

Superb

Issues caused by the owners...

Liked: The views were as expected and the studio very large and clean.
Disliked: For his/her own reasons, the owner/manager was absent and they left two young girls in charge. I have to stress here that I'm not criticising them because they were obviously doing the best that they could, or were trained to do. In my opinion they were not trained enough to confidently take charge and address potential or actual issues without having to get back to the owner. This takes time which was frustrating for my wife and me. They were also the cooks and while breakfast was adequate, we got the impression that what was displayed was the minimum needed for that day. On the first morning it wasn't announced that brekky could be cooked (bacon, eggs etc) until after I'd chosen the quantity of cereal I wanted based on my incorrect understanding that cereal was all that was available. The coffee was instant, not ground. Our internet connection packed up on Sunday and at 9.00 pm we were informed that it couldn't be fixed until Monday after we had gone. We were offered another room or a free bottle of Merlot, and while their offer was greatly appreciated, we decided against both. Again, referring to the absence of the owner - if it was due to an "emergency" type situation, all well and good, but if it was so the owner could take a break, then in my opinion, he/she should have closed shop and foregone the revenue.

Liked: The room and the bed were excellent. They were very good about serving breakfast a bit earlier.
Disliked: Spa was not well maintained. Can only get there by car and road steep.
