Not great but convenient location

Liked: Location is convenient to the city and places we were attending during our visit to Brisbane.
Disliked: A significant number of rooms are currently occupied by individuals experiencing homelessness, which is evident throughout the premises. There were noticeable accumulations of refuse and toys near the stairway, and the pool area appeared to be predominantly utilized by families, with pool toys scattered about, creating an unkempt and uninviting atmosphere.Upon our arrival, we encountered a situation where another vehicle was occupying our designated parking space, and there was no staff present to assist us. Consequently, we had to utilize an alternative parking area until our spot became available. Additionally, during our stay, my husband was questioned by a visitor of another guest regarding whether we had Foxtel in our room trying to discern if us as a regular guests were given such privileges. On our first night, we found the noise level disruptive, as our neighbour was vacuuming at 10 PM.It also appeared that the cleaning staff did not perform their duties thoroughly, as we discovered an open and partially used bottle of body wash left on the shower ledge, along with a used bar of soap in the soap holder. Although we booked accommodations for three guests, we were only provided with towels for two. While there was an ample supply of coffee and sugar, no tea bags were provided.

Disliked: Our room was not clean. There was food under the bed. There was soap left in the soap holder in the shower that had pubic hairs on it. The toilet didn't flush properly. The cleaner tried accessing our room at 8.30am & 9.45am the next morning, even though we didn't have to be out until 10am. She literally opened the door both times. We were not happy with our stay.

Disgusting, don't stay here.

Liked: The location was good. that's it.
Disliked: Uncleany, poor maintenance. The fire alarm was covered with a plastic bag. The curtains were broken, letting light in throughout the night. The door to the kitchen was broken and wouldn't close. There was mold around the bathroom and kitchen sink. The bed stains and mattresses were stained, as well as the couches and all the chairs. There were bugs crawling around at night.On the day of check out, we picked between 9am-10am. One of the staff knocked and let themselves in at 8am, asking if we were checking out today and then mumbled and left. Half an hour later, she comes back, does a barely audible knock on the door and lets herself in and we can't understand what she said because she just mumbled and left again? That was an extreme invasion of privacy, giving us no time to prepare before she let herself into our room.After that, I left my friends in the room while I went to get something. I came back to the room, this was still before 9am by the way, and the lady was staring at me from the balcony and when I tried the code to get into the room, it wouldn't allow me access. Luckily my friends were still in there and able to let me in.Also, the remote to the tv didn't work, it was useless.This place was utterly disgraceful and disgusting. I am horrified by the staff invading our privacy by entering the room.

Won't stay here again.......

Disappointing

Liked: No breakfast in the deal. general yard condition SEEDY. Auto door access good, but they waited until the last moment to give me access. there was no tea in the room, there were no tea/coffee cups in the room, no dinner plates, no bottle opener, one water glass, no LL milk in the fridge.

Disliked: The room was super smelly and the furnitures are really in a bad state. Very old and in dire need of an update. I regret staying here and will never come back!
