Disliked: I stayed at this hotel from July 26 to August 3, 2025 (Room 104) and had an extremely unpleasant and shocking experience.On the night of August 2, 2025, around 4:00 a.m., our room key suddenly stopped working. When I went to the reception, I found the night staff member sleeping in the lobby. After waking him up and politely asking for a new key card, he immediately reacted aggressively and spoke to me in a very loud and disrespectful manner. Despite my calm behavior, he initially refused to help me.After unsuccessfully trying the key card again, I returned to the reception. The staff member then started insulting me (asking if I was “stupid”), came very close to me in a threatening way, shouted at me, and told us to leave the hotel immediately. When I asked to speak to the manager, he screamed that he was “the boss” and then called the police.When the police arrived, they could clearly see that I was behaving completely normally and that it was the staff member who was acting aggressively and unprofessionally. Despite this, he deliberately gave me the same non-working key card again.This was a traumatizing experience for me. I visit Barcelona regularly and have never experienced anything like this in any hotel. I felt threatened and deeply disrespected by the behavior of this night staff member.It is important to mention that the other staff members during my stay were very friendly and helpful, which makes this incident even more disappointing.I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.
