Paradox 3 night stay -...
Liked: Beautiful paradox king room with bathtub, automated blinds, free water, excellent pool facilities. Lovely and spacious and very indulgent feel. Also loved that the TV was large and easy to see channels and what was on. The turn down service was also very nice touch as we're the privacy buttons on the doors. Free bike hire for two hours which we used to cycle round Stanley park.
Disliked: Honestly did not dislike anything. Central location, great staff. If I'm being picky then music in the bar at daytime was very loud.

Modern Luxury and Thoughtful Touches...
Liked: Our stay at Paradox Hotel in Vancouver was exceptional. The valet team was efficient and friendly, even offering to charge our Tesla. While the entrance is tucked away in a back alley, the lobby's modern design sets the tone for a luxurious experience. It's located just a few blocks from wonderful restaurants and shopping. Check-in was welcoming, with a delightful surprise of chocolate-covered strawberries for our anniversary. Our executive king room boasted stunning city views and modern amenities like automatic lights and heated bathroom floors.Although pool hours were limited, complementary bikes allowed us to explore Vancouver's beauty. Despite the presence of a nightclub lounge, noise was not an issue—a testament to the hotel's commitment to guest comfort. In conclusion, Paradox Hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and convenience, making it an excellent choice for a memorable stay in Vancouver.
Disliked: Parking was a bit expensive but on par with hotel parking in Downtown Vancouver. Valet attendants were extremely helpful and friendly which made it worth the price.

Great hotel, but the room...
Liked: The hotel and facilities were great, chic and clean.
Disliked: The bed and pillows were awful. It was like sleeping in a hammock with lumpy pillows. The mirror light wouldn’t turn off at night and the maintenance man was very busy so after 45 min we cancelled the call so we could finally go to sleep, but woke up a few hours later and called again because it was really annoying to sleep with the light on. The tub drain wasn’t working either, my husband, being a plumber was able to fix it. The lights and curtain switch on one of the bedside wasn’t working either. Basically nice hotel, but the room clearly needs some maintenance and a bed/ pillow upgrade, I expected a comfortable night at paradox, not a visit to the chiropractor. We still enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t go back because of the bed situation.

A very good stay!
Liked: Perfect central location in downtown Vancouver: city center, Stanley Parc and waterfront all within walking distance. High comfort level, with large clean and comfortable rooms. Good control of room temperature. Beds are comfortable, good shower. Overall good amenities available. Staff was in general very helpful! Room cleaning was very punctual, and service was always very polite.
Disliked: Only in-room breakfast and no breakfast room; inconvenient when traveling for work with colleagues that you would like to meet for breakfast. I checked in together with colleagues, 2 out of 3 got an upgrade ;-(... Despite booking the same rooms at the same time through booking.com, the "core room price" (so not additional costs included) differed at checkout for some unknown reason. At the checkout counter they could not explain the difference and advised to email afterwards, not the the service I directly expected from an higher end hotel.
