Liked: The Paradise Bay Resort was amazing with the most beautiful views. Rooms were exceptional, clean with every facility you would need. Very quite area of Hawaii with shopping areas, beaches and attractions a short drive away.

Pleasant

Liked: View of mtns.. Is spectacular, amenities which cost additional 45/ day are adequate. Snorkel trip was awesome. Birds song was fascinating
Disliked: Lots of steps into and out of room, older motel with slight upgrades, parking fee 18$ day is unacceptable. Neighborhood and restaurants in area are scetchy.

Exceptional

Liked: There is a great deal to like at this hotel, the service, the views, the facilities and of course the free banana bread !
Disliked: It was all lovely

Liked: We had an over the water room, the views were lovely. The pool is very nice. The ability to go out paddle boarding or kayaking was an added bonus.
Disliked: I did not enjoy that in the week we were there our room key deactivated three times and we kept having to go to the front desk to get it fixed. The walls are super thin, a couple of times I thought the neighbors were in our room, but it is not enough to stop me from returning.

Liked: Hotel is located in a great environment.
Disliked: The air conditioning was so loud that we couldn't sleep and had to turn it off. After a technician looked at it and said that it had been repaired, the next night the air conditioning was so loud again that we couldn't sleep at all and had to turn it off again. Of course it was very hot at night. We complained about this again and I asked for a refund for a non-functioning air conditioning. Now comes the joke, they offered us the equivalent of 1% refund, or in their words one night parking (total stay 3 nights OMG). That's not acceptable and it's a shame that the hotel didn't accommodate us.

Liked: The location has great views but you couldn't access the bay unless you rented a kayak
Disliked: You couldn't access the bay. The room was not furnished like the pictures at all. The room we had was not what was pictured so that was disappointing....thinking you were paying for what you saw in the ad.

Exceptional

It's peaceful but not extravagant.

Liked: I liked that we were right on the water! The views were beautiful. The beds were comfy. All the kayaks and snorkel gear were great. We came for my husband's 40th. We were disappointed at first, but as the week went on, the resort grew on us.
Disliked: The room we had wasn't updated. Our deck had a huge bump from 2 boards coming up that we all tripped on a lot. Ants were kind of a pain in the butt to deal with in the kitchen area. Parking was really tight, especially if you get in late at night. The photos I saw from when I booked it were not what we got.
