Liked: Landscaping and pool area was very nice
Disliked: Facilities are a little dated and needs a facelift

Liked: The grounds are nicely maintained and the staff works round the clock to keep them clean.
Disliked: The ice machine location was not obvious it took a visit to the front desk to find it location.

Not Pet Friendly

Disliked: Unfortunately, even though this property says pet friendly on booking . Com - it is NOT. We were told the charge for our dog would be $150. The room was $65. This is not a pet charge, it is a fine. I called the front desk and was told that pets were not allowed and if you bring one it’s $150. For this reason we cancelled our stay. As it was the day before, we were charged $227 Canadian. I asked through booking for a reduction as we canceled because of the cancellation was a result of misleading information. I received the response “ no reduction will be given” and was charged $227 Canadian. I called to complain as I had it in writing that the cancellation charge was $65 USD for the room. No one responded to my call or email, BUT the money was refunded except for the proper room charge. All in all it still cost us less to go to a pet friendly hotel but it was stressful. My concern is that this property is listed as pet friendly on booking.com and that needs to be changed. I cannot rate the hotel itself as we did not stay. I didn’t find the one front desk staff particularly helpful when I did get a hold of someone, but again it was about cancelling not a stay.

Disliked: Parking was a little far from the room due to the restaurant and the room was a little too small for 4 people.
