Great views. Awful lifts

Liked: V comfy rooms. Fabulous view.
Disliked: Very busy with cruise ships and conferences. Lifts and escalators were shocking. Both breaking down during our visit. Terrible wait generally for lifts. V poor.

Liked: Clean rooms. Nice location.
Disliked: Only 2 elevators worked the entire 4 days we were there. $6 delivery charge plus 17% mandatory tip on room service. Very busy hotel with lots of conferences going on.

Exceptional

Location, location, location!

Liked: location: excellent right there for our Disney Wonder Alaska cruise. room: met our expectations, very comfortable and amenities provided were good. view: we could see the harbor and our ship as it came to dock.
Disliked: the elevators available were minimal. it appeared that there was always one or two elevators out of service. when it was busy during peak use, we would expect a wait time of 10-15 minutes for the elevator. This was only downside of our stay here.

Would stay somewhere newer for...

Liked: Beautiful view and pool but that’s really where it ends
Disliked: Outdated for what you are paying to stay there.

Fabulous location to stay before...

Liked: We were upgraded to a 21st floor room, and the views were amazing! The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was also nicely appointed. The bellman service from our taxi was fabulous and seamless. We booked this hotel because we were going on a cruise, and the location could not be beat. They took our luggage from our room and delivered it onto the ship, which made the whole embarkation process seamless! We also appreciated the baggage service after we got off the cruise, so we could walk around Vancouver without our luggage before we needed to catch our train home.
Disliked: Nothing really. It was a great experience and if we were to ever take another cruise out of Vancouver, we'd definitely look to book at Pan Pacific again!

Dangerously poor

Liked: The view
Disliked: The phones in the room didn’t work and as a diabetic I need contact, the lifts were appalling we were assisted to the staff lift by Georgina and they were poor, from our room after waiting for a long period of time, we had to walk down from the 19th floor where the handrails were sharp and there were no signs as to how to get down

Superb

Great location, beautiful hotel

Liked: Love this location. We were able to get off our ship and walk up into the hotel. Transit is just a short walk away. The coastal walk is right there. The views were beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing
