Disappointing

Liked: We recently stayed here and unfortunately left with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the club lounge was lovely, and the staff were consistently warm and professional from reception to the restaurant, everyone we met was helpful and welcoming. The lounge made for a good spot to enjoy a pre-dinner drink, and the bed itself was comfortable I especially liked the doona.
Disliked: However, the suite room was very disappointing and did not meet expectations. The furniture felt budget, with cracked corners and cheap finishes. The bathroom was underwhelming, with a dated look, broken toilet paper holder, very slow toilet refill, and no shower gel provided for the bath. The bath itself looked uninviting, and overall amenities felt poor and not luxurious. Pillows were overly puffy and uncomfortable, and even the hangers in the wardrobe looked cheap, which further took away from the sense of a premium suite. While the staff and club lounge were highlights, the room quality fell far short of expectations for a suite, leaving the stay feeling far from luxurious.

Disliked: The new refurb is poor. Lighting is poorly done in general. Bedside lights can’t be moved or dimmed. Light switches aren’t labelled so hard to figure out what switch is for what light. Bathroom lighting/ design is bad. No extractor fan in the bathroom. Pillows were uncomfortable. Twin room was very small. The constant humming sound in the room was awful, not sure if this was from, may be the lifts as our room backed into them?

Comfy and enjoyable

Liked: The lobby is splendid and cozy. The staffs are helpful. The highlight is their breakfast buffet. My niece and I enjoyed it very much. We really enjoyed staying there
Disliked: The hotel is close to beach, but it’s a bit far from CBD. That’s ok for me.
