A little tired but well...

Liked: There is much to be like here. The location is great, the rooms and gardens are clean and tidy, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was tired, outdated and run down, but I feel it was reasonably priced to reflect the condition.
Disliked: The room was tired, outdated and run down, but I think it was reasonably priced to reflect the condition. The reception is hit and miss, with calls during business hours going through to an out-of-hours number, who are pleasant but unable to help with the most basic queries.

Nice stay in an apartment...

Liked: Close to Gold Coast aquatic centre. Free car parking onsite. Fully functional kitchen. Great views.
Disliked: One lift wasn’t working. Price was excessive but that’s the Gold Coast at Easter.

Basic at best

Disliked: Definitely not worth the price tag. Also more a residential building it seems - we locked our keys in and had to get a locksmith for an additional $220 expense on top of the $750 we had paid for the room. Office unattended on arrival and check out. Basic at best. Wouldn't normally leave a bad review but definitely not worth the price tag.

Liked: Positives - the location was good for what we needed, the bed sheets were clean, the views were terrific, and the dining table and chairs were comfortable.
Disliked: The apartment was dated, grubby and had a musty smell. Whilst we were aware that the apartment may be different to the photos shown, the apartment we were given was very dated and in no way looked like the advertised photos.It felt damp the whole time we were there. The bathrooms were dark, gloomy and didn't have any ventilation. The lighting was a fluorescent tube style which was plugged into a socket on the wall.The air conditioning stopped working. The power kept cutting out when boiling the kettle.The fans were covered in old sticky dust. There were lots of holes in various walls throughout the apartment.The lounge suite had a really bad odour, so bad that we avoided sitting on it.The main bathroom had doors across the bath, both of which collapsed inwards when opening them.We were unable to open the balcony door in the main bedroom.There was no one at reception, even during the 'manned hours'.One lift was broken on arrival. We were told it was being fixed that day, but it still was out of order when we left.
