Liked: Good location, very pleasant staff, comfortable beds
Disliked: It could do with a refresh. There were a couple of things in the room that were a bit tatty, like a hole in the curtain.

Liked: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner, excellent choices. Tasty food.
Disliked: Would have liked a fridge in the room to keep water cold.Air con would have been nice as fan provided was noisy and not sufficient enough.

Disliked: No iron provided in room which I think is a basic need in 2025. No air con, but an adequate fan was provided.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The front of house was well presented and cleanThe bar was well stocked and menu was lovely.The breakfast items available were fantastic.The size of the room and facilities in the room were very good.Location was perfectWith a little bit of TLC and overview this could be a great place to return to.
Disliked: When we arrived in the room, the bathroom floor had not been cleaned properly as there were bits of tissue still on the floor. The toilet roll holder was loose The floor near the toilet has loose floorboards under the carpetThe full english breakfast was well presented, a good amount of items,but over cooked bacon, blackpudding, hashbrowns, and egg. The mushrooms were shrivelled and tasteless. The bacon sandwich was dripping with grease and over cooked bacon. The room was very dusty. The lamps had not been cleaned in a while. The bathroom bath mat was extremely mouldy. The handles in the bath had not been cleaned underneath them as they felt grainy and dirty to touch.The shower metal hose is rusty and dirty.The skirting boards and door frames had not been cleaned in a long time as there was a lot of dust gathered on them. The mirror and tiles need a good clean as they are smeary. The bathroom door had dirty marks around the handle. There was a loose piece of laminate flooring in the bathroom near the bath that had lifted, making it a kick hazard for feet, potential accident for feet and toes.The bed was an excellent size. However, it was uncomfortable. There were definate 'ruts' in the mattress and a 'hump' in the middle, maybe could do with turning or replacing. For the price of the stay it did not quite meet expectations.

Nice atmosphere will book again
