Liked: Palihouse was chic, lovely and very clean. Also the location was calm. Loved the water available in the lounge. The pool area was very cute.
Disliked: 11am check out is too early. For this price point, noon should be the standard. Also, two towels per guest should be placed in the room.

Liked: Lovely room, nice and quiet surroundings. Rental bikes available to cruise to the beach in just 10 minutes.
Disliked: It was great :)

Liked: Design and decoration was perfect.Room size was convenient. Cute kitechenette in room. Thoughtful details everywhere.The breakfast was very good.Friendly staff.
Disliked: I was hoping our room was sunnier. The smell in the room needs improvement.

Lovely stay with a few...

Liked: We had stayed here on a previous trip when the hotel was under different ownership. The location is perfect with everything you need within walking distance.The style of the property is perfect for us, small and traditionally built. The current owners retaining many of the original features.Free underground parking is available.
Disliked: Reception staff were a bit off hand and not particularly customer focused.Whilst we understood that it was a child friendly hotel we had need to complain about the behaviour of a group of teen girls who persisted in screaming at the top of their lungs for hours on end, while their mother sipped wine and surfed on her phone. The reception staff dealt with our complaint but felt the need to explain that the hotel was family friendly.

Lovely, relaxing and beautiful hotel....

Liked: My husband and I came to Santa Barbara to get married at the courthouse so we decided to stay at the Palihouse. Best decision we made and it is less than 5 minutes away from the courthouse. This property is so clean, it’s charming and great ambiance. Parking is in private area and has two electric charging stations on site. Plenty of places to sit down and relax grab a coffee, bite to eat and/or coffee. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were so amazing. They were so helpful and professional. They made good recommendations for local restaurants and went above and beyond to help us with anything that arose during our stay. We are planning to return and stay here again.
Disliked: There was not one thing I did not like.
