Many guests love how easy it is to explore downtown and get to shows, calling it a “hidden gem” for concert weekends. The vibe is described as “cool but comfortable,” and the rooms get top marks for cleanliness and charm.

Areas for Improvement

Parking is available but comes at an extra charge, which can be a downside for road-trippers. Some reviewers mention that street noise can be noticeable—so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs or request a quieter room.

Very poor

Liked: Location only
Disliked: Terrible staff. They ask you time of arrival, but won’t let you in 1 minute before 3pm. Following morning a maid enters the room at 9am!!!!!!!!! not even waiting for an acceptance. They kick you out at 11am. Room with no closet, terrible view. Disastrous

While the room worked well...

Liked: The hotel was nice and room was cozy and had a nice atmosphere. It was perfect for traveling with my child — we had a comfortable bunk bed setup and a small but functional bathroom. The design and layout felt thoughtful, and the location near Pike Place Market made it convenient for sightseeing.
Disliked: Despite the nice room, several things negatively impacted our stay.•The area is extremely noisy, especially starting around 5:30 AM, due to its proximity to the Farmers Market.•The hotel Wi-Fi didn’t work at all during our three-day stay.•The elevator broke down one day after we arrived and was still out of service when we checked out.•Front desk staff were indifferent and unwelcoming. I’m not sure if it was because I was traveling with a child or because I’m not from the U.S., but I felt a lack of warmth and hospitality.

Would definitely come again!

Liked: Location! Decor, staff, room
Disliked: A fair amount of noise in the city overnight which didn’t bother me but my husband found it hard to sleep. And the parking situation was a mess. The city lot was a bit of a hike and the elevator didn’t work! Expensive!

Great location . . ....

Liked: The very convenient location near the waterfront and Pike Place Market is the main thing this hotel has going for it. The decor is also cute and funky.
Disliked: While we were there, the internet was down much of the time as was the TV. It seems to be a thing at this hotel. Also, the elevator broke down and wasn't fixed. We had to walk up 4 floors. Luckily our luggage was already in the room so we didn't have to deal with hauling our bags up 4 floors. The lighting in the room was awful, especially the one over the sink. It was impossible to see to put on makeup . . . and there was no counter space next to the sink to put any toiletries. Housekeeping never came out entire stay. We later found out that you have to request it. Who does that? And the bar CLOSES at 3pm. Again, who does that? Don't bars OPEN at 3PM? And the staff seem very chummy . . .which is fine. . . but sometimes stood around chatting with each other rather than check on folks at the bar, etc.
