Many guests love how easy it is to explore downtown and get to shows, calling it a “hidden gem” for concert weekends. The vibe is described as “cool but comfortable,” and the rooms get top marks for cleanliness and charm.

Areas for Improvement

Parking is available but comes at an extra charge, which can be a downside for road-trippers. Some reviewers mention that street noise can be noticeable—so light sleepers might want to pack earplugs or request a quieter room.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

This is a very disapointing...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: The room is shockingly small, with no storage space at all. Every horizontal surface if filled with expensive mini bar items. The room has a mini fridge but there is no room in it to place your own items as it is full of drinks for sale. The bathroom just has one little shelf for storage over the sink. It was really frustrating. We had to move all of the mini bar items on to the floor in order to set out our toiletries. You only get two pods of coffee for your stay with the coffee facilities shoved way back into the corner window sill to make more room for mini bar items. We got absolutely nothing for our $350 a night except one cup of coffee each and a great location. Next time we will get a larger room further back from the shore and walk an extra two blocks.

Interesting first visit to Seattle....

Liked: Location is fabulous - just 2 blocks from the Public Market
Disliked: Lighting in the room as terrible - too many low volt LED lights & strange switches made for a dim evening. Had to unplug the bedside lamps to make them turn off. Downtown Seattle is plagued with drugs which made venturing outside after about 7:30 pm and before 8 am really scarey.

The location was absolutely perfect...

Liked: The earplugs provided were great in cutting back the noise level. The blackout shades were perfect for shutting out the light in the alley.
Disliked: 1) The double bed was against the wall which makes it hard for one of two people to get out during the night. 2) we were over an alley way, 2nd floor, and a very bright light in the alley came on shining into the room and was a bit of a surprise.
