I would definitely stay again...

Liked: I only stayed one night but everything was lovely. The styling of the rooms and public spaces are very cool and the location is ideal for both business and leisure travelers.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Eh.

Liked: The first room I was given was colder than a morgue locker. It was deeply uncomfortable. The second room, better - but hard to get the AC or heater to work well. I also found some false eyelashes on the floor in the bathroom (not mine).
Disliked: See above..... The location also is weird. It's right by the Stockton tunnel. You get a parking lot view, or an alley view. The trash picks up at 0600 sharp - so don't try to sleep in.

Perfect for a quick getaway...

Liked: Throwback of perfect San Francisco style. Historic building, modern amenities, although room is smaller than a franchise type room, it was the perfect size for 2 people. Located in between Union Square (about a 3 min walk) and Chinatown. Felt like a clean safe neighborhood, no discernible problem with homelessness. Starbucks and Posh Bagel a stones throw away. excellent parking facility! In decades of going to San Francisco we were shocked at the value of this property.
Disliked: All good

Very poor

Liked: The aesthetic of the hotel was nice and it had a vintage feel to it. It's in a good location and has a lot of food options and tourist type activities nearby. Parking was also nearby which was also nice.
Disliked: The room was extremely small. We got a queen room but it didn't look anything like the pictures on their website. The room was basically the size of the bed, with very little room to maneuver or store luggage. They also didn't mention anything about a "destination fee" of $25 per night, and didn't say anything about this at the front desk. They just charge your incidentals CC after you leave with this fee + any parking charges. It felt very dishonest and shady.
