Exceptional

Loud, but comfortable and well-situated.

Liked: Location was great, the in-unit coffee machine was wonderful. The African-American woman at the front desk was very friendly at check-in and very helpful with information/updates about the area.
Disliked: There was a tornado warning during our stay, hotel guests all got woken up in the middle of the night with an emergency alert on our phones, and the man at the front desk was entirely unhelpful. In fact, he even seemed shocked that we were even worried. Also, there was a very loud protest going on down the street, which isn't the hotel's fault but important to note! They did supply ear plugs.

Liked: Truly the most amazing staff. My new favorite hotel! Will recommend to everyone that I know.
Disliked: There was not one single thing that I did not absolutely love. Not one single solitary negative word to share here.

Liked: Close to the city, great for if you are exploring on foot!
Disliked: My only criticism would be WiFi didn’t real work at all unless you were in one certain spot in the room.

A charming boutique hotel in...

Liked: Decor is charming and I liked that there is a shelving unit with a rack to hang clothes. Looks modern and maximized space since there's no closet. Location is good and close enough to BART. staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: The bed and bedding. Oof. Not the worst but really not comfortable. The pillows especially felt cheap. No top sheet (not sure if the comforters are washed with every turn of the room). A shame, because I liked everything else about the room.

Satisfied with the stay!

Liked: The location was good, near the union square, though I didn't stay late at streets as I was worried about the safety of the area! The bathroom were clean, and I liked the extra shelves in the room.
Disliked: The bed cleanliness was questionable. The elevator was dinosaur old, and I think it needed to get serviced!
