Disappointed. I was expecting much...

Liked: Decor, location
Disliked: Staff were not friendly, room wasn’t ready until 5pm, rooms didn’t get serviced throughout the whole stay. Staff don’t seem to want to be there. Bar closed too early and no food available at times that it states. Soap not refilled in shower, requested new towels which seemed like a big ask. Air conditioning unit very noisy.

A really excellent hotel, great...

Liked: The Palihotel is a boutique hotel, excellently located with wonderful staff! one suggestion is maybe install an ice machine on each floor, that said the wonderful bar staff are only happy to give you an enormous bucket of ice, so just ask.

Nice style but terrible staffing...

Liked: The style was well done. Nice size rooms, comfy beds and designer touches. Derek at front desk tried his best when we were faced with numerous issues as outlined in what we didn’t like about the hotel.
Disliked: We don’t normally complain but there were just too many issues for us. Housekeeping was terrible. Our shower and bathroom in general was not cleaned prior to our arrival as evident by the hair in shower drain
