Everything was very enjoyable and...

Liked: We came to attend the TCM Film Festival and the location was perfect, within walking distance of the venues, attractions, and restaurants. For fans of In-Out Burger, it´s right next door.
Disliked: The refrigerator was pre-stocked with beverages and there was no room for things we brought with us.

Good and affordable stay. Will...

Liked: Such a cute hotel, feels a little like a motel. Gorgeous entrance and clean and simple rooms.
Disliked: Not much public space in the hotel. Ordering coffee and breakfast was a strange experience in the lobby. Overexposed, no understanding of the process, either.

Exceptional

Liked: We came to LA for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. We were super close to the Hollywood walk of fame right on the Sunset strip. After the concert we were easily able to walk back to the hotel! It was clean and cute! Pool area super nice. Staff awesome. Beds comfortable!
Disliked: Not one thing.

Liked: Good location for Hollywood Boulevard, Chinese theatre etc.Big Bus tours and public transport links. Decent pool area for party people. Spacious rooms. Former motor hotel lodge which has been tastefully modernised but retains its heritage.
Disliked: The walls & ceilings are on the thin side because we could hear other guests during our stay which made for an unsettled sleep. Perhaps we were just unlucky.At the room price we would have expected a bottle water each day free instead of $7 charge if you open the water that’s available. All our 5 previous hotels in California provided free water.

We had a lovely stay...

Liked: Exceptional staff; very friendly and attentive. The property is well maintained and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Upon arrival we found that there was an issue with the tv. Maintanence arrived promptly and could not resolve the issue, however the front desk quickly offered to move our room and we were delighted to find that we were offered a much larger corner balcony room. This was very appreciated and is just one example of the great staff. I also need to acknowledge the pool attendants and bar staff as they were excellent.
Disliked: The walls are quite thin so noise from outside or from other rooms can be heard easily. Only valet parking is available so the price is very high, however this is stated prior to booking and it is expected given the location.
